[Businessmtg] Acting Secretary Report

Hi everyone,

The Secretary has 3 main jobs:

* Recruiting/training daily chairs. I recruited a new batch of chairs 
that started in January. I then had to re-recruit a Wednesday chair 
because Van was ill. I was so grateful for the other chairs helping to 
cover for Van during that process! Everything is running very smoothly.

* Update the website. I do this 4 times a year - generally during this 
first week of the Business Meeting after the Treasurer sends me the 
financial reports. In addition to posting those to the website, I update 
any changes in personnel (greeters, daily chairs, trusted servants), and 
post the business meeting agendas and any topics for future business 
meetings.

*Chair of the Business Meeting. Now that the BM is every 3 months 
instead of every 2 months thanks to a recent group conscience, this is 
much more manageable. It does require me to be "on" during this month 
and reading the BM emails daily (or as best I can manage) as well as 
communicate with the Steering Committee as necessary on any issues that 
arise during the BM. I also meet with the rest of the Steering Committee 
by zoom about 2-4 weeks before the start of the Business Meeting where 
we discuss the agenda for the BM and any other Steering Committee 
business.
