Hi Marilyn!
Thanks for your question. I fear that pre-Alanon, I may have been at the
opposite end of the spectrum from your example. :/ I have never had a fear
of speaking up in a business role (personal role - completely different),
and have had to learn that my way isn't always the best way, or comfortable
for others. I have had to learn to accept principles before personalities
and apply kindness, compassion, and patience to processes and people. My
hope is that serving on the Steering Committee will allow me to practice
applying this in all my affairs as I continue to grow in this area.
