[Businessmtg] Question for applicants

Hi Marilyn,
Thanks for your question!

My biggest challenge in choosing to volunteer for the Treasurer position is
that it has been some time since I have
functioned in this role. I would call it a fear: of failure or not being up
to the task. Bookkeeping and accounting was my first career and I was
very good at it. Now that I am retired and I have some years of Al-anon
under my belt, I can face this fear, knowing that God has my back.
I'm kind of a slogan girl...Progress not Perfection reminds me that I will
never be perfect, but that it is progress that is most important.
