Hi all, 
I have been following all the responses and appreciate all the opinions. 

Personally, I do not access the archives or save anyone’s personal shares on my computer. 

My question at this point is if we go with the option of deleting past shares and start over, is there a possibility of doing a yearly data dump or an agreed on period? That way the SC has information available, should they need it and the shares from years past are removed.  I understand this will be a manual and not programmed dump and added work for the person responsible. 

I am trying to look at the entire big picture. In reality, once my written share is sent into cyberspace,  I have become powerless over the outcome of it. Especially when you think all the inboxes it goes to and the small percentage of those that are actually actively participating in ASP. The member archive is password protected and may or may not have more firewalls than the average home computer. 

Just a few thoughts that are swirling around in my brain.
