Hi Alanon friends.  Another thought about saving the archives is that once
an email is posted anywhere it cannot be undone.  One of our program’s
principles is that I can’t change the past, so it is the same with email.

As far as privacy and anonymity goes, people may not post their real names
here on ASP…….and in addition to that when people post emails, their email
address is exposed…..but it’s not like they post their phone number or
address.

I can appreciate that there are people who do not wish to be exploited by
posting but on the other hand I do not want to lose the wisdom that is
shared about a situation and how it was processed to the solution.

To my knowledge ASP has not had any issues with keeping the emails related
to peoples anonymity.

Archiving the emails is another way to help one another in Alanon.
