A quick word on the argument of dominance.

Somebody has to know and enforce the rules of the group outlined on
the Founding
Policies <https://asp-afg.org/members/founding_policy/> page to ensure
traditions are maintained for member safety. It is the same for F2F
meetings. As an email group, we are not all in one place at the same time
to support one another if someone gets out of line -- it's happened TWICE
in my short time serving as List Admin.

The ASP SC has been entrusted by its members to enforce these rules. It is
not one person making these decisions, but a group consensus, just like our
business meetings. In my opinion, therefore, it's not dominance, it's
security.
