Hello Biz Meeting Peeps!

Thanks for being here and supporting the health of our organization. It 
really takes a village to keep things running smoothly!

On that note, I want to begin by sharing again that we are still seeking 
a secretary and recording secretary. The ASP Secretary is responsible 
for:

  	* Chairing quarterly business meetings
  	* Appointing and training daily chairpersons
  	* Appointing and training the recording secretary (also vacant - this 
is your assistant)
  	* Updating ASP websites as directed by Steering Committee (it's easy!)
  	* Backing up the List Administrator (me)

It may sound like a lot, but it's mostly quarterly, half-annual, and 
some back-up work. One of our steering committee members (Anne) is 
currently serving double duty and it would be nice to give her some 
relief. Even having an assistant to shadow and learn the secretary 
position would be very helpful.

We are nice to work with and will train and support you in whatever you 
need. :)

Here's a little data on our group:

  	* We are currently (as of October 3) at 296 members. We were at 298 on 
June 23. This number has been fluctuating by about 6 +/- for some time 
now, so I'd say we are pretty stable!
  	* For average daily shares, we had 39 in July, and 35 for both August 
and September. This averages to being down 2 shares per day from the 
last quarter. I am chalking that up to it being summer, but will keep an 
eye on it to see how it trends.

In other news, we continue to have intermittent issues with Microsoft 
and Gmail email addresses randomly bouncing and "removing" members from 
the group. This is caused by changes those providers are making to their 
account protocols which then requires us to change ours. Unfortunately, 
we don't know to change anything until we see the bounces. It has caused 
some temporary service stoppage for some of our members, but I've been 
able to get them back online quickly - definitely within a couple of 
days.
