Hi all,
We are just about at the end of this meeting topic with moderate
participation. 13 people of our 21 participants have weighed in at this
meeting. For those looking to edit or modify the content, the pages put
forth are considered final drafts. With that said, there is no reason why,
we can't add to or change what gets posted in the future. The process for
doing that is to submit a request to the Secretary or Steering Committee as
a future topic. With out a consensus. The topic is put to bed, and nothing
gets posted. The pages after some amount of time could be brought to this
meeting again.
So, as you think about this again, I would ask you to look at this through
multiple lenses, meaning, there are always things to add or improve upon,
but in the end, does this draft meet the goal of this Al-Anon program, does
it welcome family and friends of alcoholics and does it provide good
information to newcomers..
An opportunity for those who have suggested edits or some level of editing
to determine if they are willing to move forward with the pages written as
is. And for the 8 who haven't weighed in to share their thoughts. If we
reach consensus, we move into the next week crafting a motion.
Hugs,
Anne

Hi all,
Me again. As we are all aware, participation is the key to harmony in our
program and there has been very little at this meeting (smile). As noted
earlier. This is our 3rd business meeting on the topic, and other than some
wordsmithing shared in the second and now third meetings, that although
substantive, the suggestions do not appear to be deal breakers. I guess I
would ask every one of you to weigh in now to share your thoughts on the
pages, written as is. Applying the Al-Anon principles to those thoughts,
with your gut and simple appreciation as a part of your response if you'd
like but really keeping the focus on program.
Looking forward to hearing from you all!
Hugs,
Anne O
