[Businessmtg] Secretary's report - April 2026

Hi friends,

Since my last report, I have updated the website with the outcomes of our
last business meeting and attended one Steering Committee meeting.  There
are a lot of layers to the members website https://asp-afg.org/members/, and
I find that I miss things that need updating.  Please reach out with
feedback as you come across items that may need updating.

Preparing for this business meeting included compiling the agenda topics and
then meeting with the Steering Committee to review ahead of posting the
announcement to the recovery meeting.  And while I enjoy, supporting this
position in an adhoc fashion, I am looking forward to having a member of our
group step forward into the position.  The time commitment is quite
manageable, and I plan on providing solid support to whomever is interested.

Participation is the key to harmony; we have so many step up in so many
ways.  Sharing in the recovery meeting, chairing meetings, and greeting
newcomers, and participating in the business meetings.  The Steering
Committee has worked hard at becoming a team using the principles of the
Al-Anon program, I am excited to see increased interested this month in
serving on ASP's Steering Committee.
