Good morning folks,

    I am in agreement that we should adjust our Prudent Reserve to fit our
current budget.  I would like to see our balance above the $2000
requirement so to eliminate the below the daily balance fees.  IMHO fees
like that are like throwing money out the window.
     I realize our membership is not contributing as we would like to see.
I think keeping the focus on reminding members of the Seventh Tradition is
appropriate.   Lets face it, the basket passes every F2F meeting.  Maybe we
focus on that as some others have suggested.  .
    I understand adding additional forms of payment for donations requires
more work for the Treasurer in some respects but I do think that more and
more people are willing to press a button and electronically move funds to
our account whether it is PayPal, Zelle, Venmo etc.   I think it would be a
good financial decision for us to at least accept one more form of payment
to see if it increases our donations. See if it helps.   Electronic
payments eliminate the need to take the time for Sheila to run to a bank,
spend gas money and her time.  Many people still want to write a check, but
the way of the world is changing and electronic payments are leading the
way. I think we will see the scales tip towards the electronic payments as
time passes.
