Hi all

While the thought of sending something out to the newcomers is a nice thought I must say  that adding more work to my already heavy load is asking a lot.  I all ready spend 2 to 4  hours a day with my greeting duties and I must say that I am firmly opposed to adding getting that kind of info needed to send out newcomer packages out people that may or  may not last till the packet comes to them in the mail.  on any given day we deal with about 10 requests to join  and juggle returns of letters and second letters and please adds and  welcome letters and  welcome to the group letters and that adds up to about 40 emails in my box to track and handle and read and then you add the meeting to that I don't think that adding 1 more or 2 more steps to the greeters is the way to go.
