Hi all.
   
  I am the GR for my f2f group and the treasurer for our district. We hosted an area wide convention in 2007 which required much discussion.
   
  At no time in my experience did the Al-anon members challenge each other directly in a negative way.  Character defects were set aside and tradition one was put in play. I am quite frankly amazed at some of the comments in this meeting. Perhaps we need to remember that this is Al-anon and we have principles by which we live.
   
  At this time, I do not see the benefit of sending a rep to the convention. I do think trying to have open dialog with WSO would benefit the many.
