[Businessmtg] Disbursement of Funds

Thank you Jerry for your level headedness! This topic frustrates me as we
have started it in the past.  

 

Yes,  we need to start from where we are and in part we are in a stalemate.
In the past the discussion has been stopped due to our one month on and one
month off Business meetings.  We also went through a period of no Business
Meetings for a about a year.  

 

We all want the best for Al-Anon and for ASP.  None of us want to harm
Al-Anon! I believe in the concept of abundance and that if we have a need
our membership will provide.  However until we start to move forward we will
not see abundance.  Accumulating or hoarding the funds does not do any good
for Al-Anon as a whole.  Let's put our $ to the use of Al-Anon as a whole.  

 

The idea and our decision of sending newcomer packets is something that we
should come back to at another meeting.  We have 3 more days to discuss this
and unless we have a consensus soon this decision will be put off for
another 2 months. 

 

As I have typed this there is now a motion on the floor  from Emee and I
would like to second that motion.
