Has so much changed since I joined ASP all those years ago? I DO recall wondering when that first topic share was going to show up on my computer. Yes, it did SEEM like it took forever. In reality I think it was two days. 
  
What is the average delay these days? If it's more than a day or two, what would it take to shorten our current procedure to reach some assurance that the maximum delay would be two days? 
  
Does the welcome letter say something like "It might take a few days to begin getting topics so be patient"? 
  
If it is currently a day or two, I'm in agreement that there isn't a problem.
