Hi All, 

I started thinking more about this topic and how it might work. My initial reaction was favorable but upon further consideration think perhaps it could become too much for the greeter and the newcomer. 

Greeters are not required to be plugged in to the greeter inbox 24/7, so I think the timing and coordination could be tricky if it were to be added to their duties. I do however, find it difficult sometimes to find the original daily meeting, I can't even imagine because it has been so long what its like for a newcomer. 

At one time, chairs were asked to put additional information in the subject line. I think this should be reinforced again. Something like: Wednesday Traditions/Concept Meeting or Monday Step Meeting. This was useful because it was a clear sign that the daily meeting was being initiated. 

If this became the norm, it might be easier for people to pick up the thread and newcomers could be directed to the subject line for the topic of the day. They still may miss the original post because of timeing but I think having this marker would be useful. 

Just my opinion of course.
