First off, Thank you Laura, for being such a awesome chairperson. Thank you everyone for your comments.

 As I looked at the email that Jane had forwarded yesterday with our topics I was struck by how second topic we want to give the new members more stuff on their first day and the third topic is are they being inundated with too much! The worst thing is that I think I suggested both of them! 

I am grateful for the comments from the newcomers in this meeting regarding feeling overwhelmed. Our server allows for a automatic note to members unsubscribing which we were not utilizing. At the beginning of July,  I chose to add a note so that it automatically asks the members for any comments when they unsubscribe. Out of 10 received 9 say that they were overwhelmed with emails. (Mostly they thought it was good but just overwhelmed). The other one is no longer in a relationship with a A! 

As someone else said "if it works don't fix it". IMO If the newcomer asks for the "meeting" we can forward.  It is always good though to have the conversation.
