Hi,
Thank you Susie Q for your observations. I think no action is an action. Not providing treasury information, etc. in the past business meetings gives all the more reasons and opportunity to now provide since the information is being asked for. Obviously the steering committee isn't something we can all just easily join which is why transparency is beneficial. No one is questioning integrity. We all have every right to question the process. I hope the business needs of ASP's main goal to help people can be put first in requests for polls and votes instead of a rushed consensus for convenience and peripheral agendas. Thank you.

Whether members respond to her privately or in the group is not a issue. We have already had open discussion on the topic. In many cases within Al-Anon votes are private. Our secretary could have simply had a electronic poll set up where only the webmaster would have seen the responses. She is a trusted servant of ASP and her integrity should not be questioned.
