[Businessmtg] OT no Al-Anon hierarchy

My father used to say, "The highest you can get in AA is sober." I like to
say, "The highest you can get in Al-Anon is serene." No one needs to feel
that those more "experienced" are somehow more qualified to contribute to
this or any discussion. There are certain time requirements for various
positions but that doesn't make anyone better than someone with less time
in ASP or in program. We all have something of value to share. We all have
issues we need to address. We are all equals here.
