Hello fellow business meeting members thank you for participating with me,


I would like to add to Apryl’s share (sent earlier this evening) by making
another call for ESH from the members who have kindly offered service to us
on ASP.

I asked for this same thing during the last business meeting and I would
like to share my thoughts and clarify what it is I am seeking from those
that choose to share.
1.
-It is my observation and opinion, what was shared during the last business
meeting (by a small number of recent trusted servants/ 3 of 10) was their
experiences (with no S-strength or H-hope).  This type of sharing has
proven ineffective and may have discouraged our current ASP members
willingness to serve our recovery group.  I can’t imagine I would attend
Al-Anon,in any capacity,  if “ESH” was offered in this way.

2.
-I would like to give a huge thank you 🙏 to Adele and Apryl for sharing
their ESH with us during this months business meeting.

3.
- I would like to take this time to ask anyone in attendance that has ever
served ASP as a trusted servant to share their Experience Strength and Hope
(ESH) (without harming fellow members of our recovery group in the process).
-Also, when discord was experienced please share how you overcame those
times and how you possibly could have done things differently to ease the
discord and return to unity and serenity.
