[Businessmtg] Business Meeting: resumes for service position

Chair and business meeting members,
I would really like to receive some ESH from my previous post before
sending my resume (not for LA) in. I am concerned about the deadline the
Chair has put in place as I would like to give myself more time to make a
decision on such a trusted commitment in service.
Would adding 5 days to the resume acceptance deadline be allowed?
If that is not permitted then I would like to ask...
Would it be okay to submit a resume without determining what position it is
for, yet?
