All, For the purpose of transparency I believe that choosing the May 18 removes any perceived secrecy. In terms of forming a committee with volunteers, I believe that a call for volunteers may have been missed. However, I was not selected I volunteered on my own during the discussion ahead of the formal announcement. We can certainly create defined guidelines for committees in the future. I don’t recall any overt secrecy.
I think everyone needs to take a deep breath on this one.
We agreed on the May 18 date I don’t see any reason to make a change to that agreement.
