[Businessmtg] newcomer's committee

My slogan for this situation is "Keep it simple".  I do see a lot of
newcomers having technical questions and needing guidance re: sponsorship.
I'm wondering if we could just have a website section called "for the
newcomer" and lump the pages we have already created in that section.

I am curious about what the greeter role is, because it would seem to me
that that's the natural entry point for doing something for newcomers.

If these aren't things that can be resolved through business meeting, then
I would be in favor of a newcomer's committee as long as it is time-limited
and very clear on what it's doing, so it doesn't turn into a lengthy "toss
ideas around ad infinitum" process.
