[Businessmtg] Archives/unsubscribing. And or purging

I have read every email on this topic.   This is my opinion based on my
experience strength and hope and from all the shares on this topic.
I feel like no matter what I say is going to make someone upset and that's
part the reason I'm in Al Anon and I signed up to be in a business meeting
for Al Anon bc... I need to learn and grow and not let my feelings and
behvaior be dictated by others feelings and behavior.

1) archiving..My opinion on archiving based on everything that has been
said is the following:
.., once we sign up for anything on line.. , we have to assume some
risk..as mentioned in some shares.  Just as it applies to going outside in
life to f2f meetings..your share is out there..no, it's not necessarily
being archived but speakers are taped and honestly in today's world there
is absolutely nothing preventing people from taping you in meetings. Its
not a fun  fact to present mbut it is life on life's terms. ..and we see it
everyday in the news. people tape and record all the time.
The only way to avoid any of that..is to isolate. In my opinion.

I don't love the idea of archiving, but I also am not sure how it's  any
different as sending emails to everyone on a ever growing email list.
People on the sent list can easily do their  own archiving ..once it's
sent. Once  its sent.....it's out in on line world for everyone on the list
(and who has access to the list/computer) to see .  Just as anyone who is a
member can go online and access the archives. (My opinion based on what I
read.  I'm not as tech savvy as some of you are so. If I understood this
incorrectly I apologise)

2) purging emails. Again, I'm.not tech savvy. I don't love the idea of my
emails being sent to people who are not in ASP anymore , no more that I
love the idea of going to a F2f meeting where other people are going to say
things I do not like and come up to me after a meeting and take my
inventory. . Again it's life.  I do think there should be some sort of
purge process but it sounds super complicated..so I don't feel as though I
should be giving to much feedback on that.

All of this is my opinion based on what I have read, in my first on line
business meeting and from all of the shares and my ESH.
I hope I did not offend or disturb anyone's views/opinions or complex
research on this discussion..
