Hi Everyone,

How Al-Anon Works B-32
Tradition 1 and Chaper 14 help me discern the Al-Anon way.

My experience:  I wanted to serve because I needed to be needed to belong.
As I served and used my sponsor a shift happened and self esteem grew.
Gratitude and Joy became my motivators.  I love being a part of another’s
finding this joy too.

Links broken are often signs of a bigger problem.  Are we helping another
to succeed?  Are we building trust or fear?

These two positions are opportunities to give away what we have received.
It is not about judging others as they serve.  It’s more about helping them
to succeed within the boundaries of their service to the group.

I don’t look forward to taking my turn here at A Serenity Place, out of
fear.  I like being comfortable.   I tell myself it will be another
opportunity to practice unconditional love.  Let it Begin with Me!

I am in service here at ASP.  I participate regularly.  I share my
experience when nudged and asked  by individuals and I sponsor.

I am unable, at this time, to submit my resume because of a current Area
commitment.
