Thank you to everyone who is involved in service on ASP.  I am truly
grateful for the opportunity to get the recovery that is here.

I joined ASP because I live on the other side of the world from most of the
people on this meeting and don't have access to f2f meetings.   I try to
participate in the business meeting as much as possible because aside from
making a donation, this is about the only way I can be of service to this
meeting--I travel a lot and frequently to places with no access to internet.

I read the calls to service and wish I could answer with a yes.  I hope
someone out there is feeling the nudge from their HP to step up.  Laurie FJ
asked whether an email needs to go out to ASP as a whole, and I wonder if
that's feasible.  It's been my experience that those of us who attend the
business meeting are always a tiny fraction of the overall membership of a
group, and if they're like me, we're here because we already believe in
giving back what we've gotten.
