Reading the posts on this topic reminds me of the importance of taking care
of our trusted servants.  I don't know much about how this group works but
it seems that the List Administrator position is demanding in terms of time
and requires a certain amount of expertise and experience.  As a group, we
are faced with trying to keep the position workable for volunteer leaders.
At the same time, we can't exist without a List Administrator.
I could be in favor of assigning a permanent List Administrator.  If we did
that, we would want to divide the job up a bit to ensure that several other
members are developing the expertise and experience to take over if need
be.  Maybe we could have a few rotating List Assistants or one List
Assistant in addition to the SC members who already serve as backup.
Whatever we do, it's important to me that our leaders have the tools and
support they need to do their jobs.
