[Businessmtg] Requirements for chairing meetings

Hi, I'm Adrian.
My opinion is that we could hold a group conscience if it happens. I
understand that it could be unwieldy to have the whole group participate in
business meetings, but we were just reading tradition 9 in my face-to-face
group, and it says in *Paths to Recovery* that all members are encouraged
to participate in group meetings, topics to be discussed will be announced
so that people can decide if they want to participate, and discussions at
business meetings help with group unity.
I think bringing quick decisions like whether to extend the opportunity to
chair to someone with slightly less than six months to a group conscience
discussion and vote would help people feel more like they were
participating, and more invested in the group, and that would help people
stick around longer, not that I believe this is such a common problem
anymore.
Thank you.
