Hello,
I'd like to say I agree with Georgia, partly because I have years in F2F
Al-Anon but I only have a few months in ASP. Though I am certain I am
capable of chairing any meeting, I am also certain I would be fumbling my
way through ASP's standards and processes.
If we have had plenty of volunteers, then I don't see a need to change the
official requirements. And in some cases, a position being open for a short
while may give someone the courage to say, "oh, maybe they really do need
me."
