These are indeed complicated issues. Thank you for all of the emails and explanations about these issues. New situations usually do take time to sift out to the best form that fits the function. With that in mind, after reading all the emails, I think that most important focus seems to be finding an alternate GR to work with Anne so that meetings can be attended and processed. 

I like the idea of the at-large SC positive taking on that role. However, finding and retaining SC members has been an on-going issue.  Perhaps another alternative to the SC position would be to find a group of alternate GRs who do not serve on the SC (similar to our greeter positions). Thank you to Jerry for doing some of that already. There are probably others of us who would be willing to step in and perform GR tasks but are unwilling, at this time, to serve on the SC.
