Good morning all,

     What I hear is:

1. the trusted servants are carrying this group and it has gone on for too
long.
2. we could reduce the terms from 3-2 years
3. we could change the qualifications to include 12 or 18 months of
attendance in the business meetings.
4. we could do a group inventory of the business meeting.

     My thoughts are: Perhaps reducing the term would make the positions
more attractive.  Yes there are pros/cons, but perhaps someone who after 2
years felt comfortable in that position when the term was over they would
have the option to run again.  That would be "their" choice.  Yes, the
learning curve does take a while that is not going to change.
      In regards to the 12 or 18 months business meeting attendance, while
it sounds like a possible option, I am afraid that it would narrow the
options.  Not all business meeting members attend every business meeting,
usually for personal reasons.  And if they already attend every meeting,
why haven't they stepped up yet?  How many members attend consistently each
month and are they always the same members?
      I would like to ask this question:  If you were willing to volunteer
for one of the ASP positions, what would make that position attractive
enough for you to do so?  I ask this question because I am at a loss for
alternative suggestions.
      Lastly, could someone tell me what a group inventory entails and how
it is run via email?  Is it run like a business meeting?
